Cultural

Besides relaxing in our villa, our location is also a good base for visits to the beautiful cultural cities such as the Alhambra in Granada, Seville, Cadiz, Ronda, the oldest city of southern Spain, Cordoba, Malaga, all within a distance of  1/2 to 2 hours. Morocco is also an option and can be reached by boat from Gibraltar within 2 hours and certainly worth to visit during a longer stay. The nearby village of Mijas Pueblo, although a bid touristic, it is a nice white Spanish village, and worth to visit . There are  another 23 Andalusian villages that are worth the visit because of the white houses, little streets, the many restaurants and ceramics shops.

Sun, sea and beach lovers

Even the Sun and Snow combination (Sol Y Nieve) is an option. The village of Pradollano is about 30 km from Granada with a height of about 2100 meters in the Sierra Nevada and it is possible to ski at 3396 meters. The ski area has about 121 kilometers of slopes with more than twenty ski lifts. For both beginners and advanced skiers there are a lot of ski runs, varying from blue to black. The ski season runs from the months of November to May. The ski area is only a short drive from Malaga and it is worthwhile to spend a day, and then return to the warmth of the coast.

Beautiful Spanish ski area

Spain has different types of markets. In addition to the well-known fresh markets, there are regular small outdoor markets. The markets in the open air generally have craft products and clothing. The daily fresh markets have a large selection of fresh fish, beautiful vegetables and beautiful meat. In these markets you can taste the Spanish culture at its best. The most famous and largest covered market is "Mercado de Atarazanas" in Malaga center. During shopping, we advise you to have a nice glass of wine with a tapas between the locals.
